Credit Union Advantage provides membership eligibiltiy to anyone within our field of membership. (Click membership tab or read below) Your initial $5 share/savings account deposit represents your share of Credit Union Advantage ownership. Credit Union Advanrtage is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by our membership. Each member has one vote-regardless of the balance in his or her savings account.  As a non-profit financial cooperative, Credit Union Advantage profit is turned over to the members in the form of increased dividends, low loan rates and affordable products and services. Credit Union Advantage was founded on February 27, 1969 for Providence Hospital Employees and their family members. Today, our membership includes the employees St. John Health Systems (including Providence Hospitals), Individuals over 55 living in Oakland County receiving a pension, retirement annuity, social security or a similar payment from a private or government source, and the communities surrounding our three offices.  

2009 marks our 40th Anniversary Year of service!
