2025 Scholarships
As Credit Union Advantage, a division of Zeal Credit Union, merges with Zeal Credit Union, your local credit union is happy to share that our scholarship program is getting an upgrade. In lieu of our previous two $1,000 Brock Scholarships, CUA members are now eligible for Zeal Credit Union's Scholarship Program.
Long story short, this means high school seniors attending college, trade school, or university in autumn of 2025 can now apply for one of Seven (7) $2,000 Scholarships!* That's over 3 times more scholarships that ease twice as much of the financial burden - so why wait to apply?
To be eligible to win, the applicant must be a member of Credit Union Advantage, a division of Zeal Credit Union (or a Zeal Credit Union member) and a current high school senior** who will be attending a college, trade school, or university in Fall 2025. To apply, visit Zeal Credit Union's scholarship page using the link below and fill out the available form, answering the provided questions and providing a 1 minute 30 second video answering the prompt "Imagine your future self as financially secure. How will you pay it forward?"

Monday, February 24, 2025 at 5:00pm EST.
The Details:
*A one-time scholarship disbursement will be made in July 2025. Checks are made payable to the school the recipient is attending and will be mailed directly to the school to be applied the recipient’s account. If recipient does not attend as expected, funds should be promptly returned. Applications and documentation must be submitted electronically through the scholarship page of ZealCU.org (ZealCU.org/Scholarship) no later than 5:00pm EST Monday, February 24, 2025. If you do not have the means to record a video, please email Scholarships@ZealCU.org no later than Tuesday, February 11, 2025 for assistance. **Applicant must be the primary member in good standing on a share account at Zeal Credit Union (or Credit Union Advantage, a division of Zeal Credit Union) before the scholarship will be awarded. Scholarships will be awarded and announced at Zeal's Annual Membership Meeting on March 20, 2025. Credit Union Advantage (a division of Zeal Credit Union), Zeal Credit Union, and Zeal Credit Union Foundation, Inc. employees, elected or appointed officials and their dependents are ineligible to apply for the high school scholarships.
